Pennypacker Country Club
PennyPacker Country Club is s family-run Swim and Tennis club that has been operating for over 50 years. It is located on a one of a kind 1800’s farm property. The club has three swimming pools: a “C” shaped competition pool with depths from 3 to 12 feet, an intermediate pool (known as the frog pool) which is 2 to 4 feet deep, and a baby pool area. The property also includes nine tennis courts, and a scenic picnic area adjacent to a small lake for fishing.
St. Anthony’s Lodge, Downingtown
Downingtown families are familiar with the pool at St. Anthony’s Lodge. The lodge opened in 1929, and the pool has been providing hours of family fun for decades. Pool season kicks off Memorial Day and ends Labor Day Weekend.
Marsh Creek Swimming Pool
At the Marsh Creek Swimming Pool Complex family fun is the name of the game! Come enjoy a relaxing swim in the half acre size pool located within Marsh Creek Park. Let the kids have a blast in the splash zone. When you get hungry or thirsty enjoy a scrumptious snack from the full service food bar. Marsh Creek Pool has clean spacious bath houses with showers, lavatories, and changing areas. There is plenty of open area to lounge and bathe yourself in the sun- as well as pavillions for picnics and grilling. Applecross Country Club
The popular Applecross developments in Guthriesville are affiliated with the Applecross Country Club, a private golf club. The community clubhouse extends pool membership to area families. The outdoor resort-style pool areas have a separate kiddie facilities for smaller kids to safely play. The pools are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
We know; TECHNICALLY the address is Exton, but this pool is next door to the Downingtown East High School campus. Plus we had to give it a pass because it’s so popular in the Lionville and Downingtown communities. Families flock to it for the fun water features and twisting waterslide.
